Technical Support

The Sheffield eLearning Team (formerly the City Learning Centres) offers a number of packages to Repairing a computerschools to help improve learner outcomes through the effective and purposeful use of learning technologies. Our technical staff and curriculum consultants work in a single integrated team to ensure holistic support.

Our technical support service will help you to maximise the reliability and performance of ICT in your school so that teachers and pupils can effectively support learning.

We will work with your senior leaders to develop a flexible package to support school priorities. We provide a technician for half day a week term time to support the smooth running of the school’s IT system. Further support may include:

  • An IT health check to help you improve your schools IT infrastructure to best support teaching and learning.
  • Supporting the implementation of mobile devices including device management and configuration.
  • Advice and consultancy to support best value procurement.

Urgent short term technical support:

We can provide professional short term cover in the unfortunate event of a technical crisis, unplanned absence of technical staff  or an IT disaster. The duration of this support may be days, weeks or a whole half term. We will assist the school in getting the IT system back up and operational as soon as possible, or maintain its smooth running.
