The Sheffield Safeguarding Children Board offers a core provision for Online Safety, details of which can be viewed here. Many schools tell us that they wish to purchase additional bespoke support around online safety in order to make the best use of valuable staff time.
You can purchase this support from our experienced and knowledgeable team. We believe our support will help you to ensure that your pupils, staff and parents are well informed about how to stay safe online in a cost and time efficient way.
We offer parents and staff training events as well as curriculum activities, health checks, assemblies, and dedicated bespoke support for key staff. Working with the eLearning Service will help your school to embed online safety in the school’s policies, procedures, curriculum and culture.
The list of support activities below, compiled through discussion with schools in Sheffield, gives an outline of the activities we can offer. This list is not exhaustive and we would welcome a discussion of your school’s specific requirements – please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Please contact Sue Finnigan: sue.finnigan@sheffield.gov.uk (0114) 2587728 for more details or to organise support.
