Online Safety

Sheffield City Council eLearning Service is proud to have been commissioned by Sheffield Safeguarding Children Board to deliver Online Safety training to schools and settings in the city.

Sue Finnigan, one of our eLearning consultants, has worked very closely with Julia Codman (formally eSafety Project Manager for SSCB) on this subject over a number of years and will be responsible for training, policy and school-based events delivered under this commission.

Sue currently represents Sheffield on CEOP’s Education Advisory Board, co-delivers much of the training offered previously and has worked alongside Julia in the research and production of the Sheffield Online Safety Curriculum 5-18, and the Sheffield SEND Online Safety Curriculum. In addition to working closely with Sheffield schools on their Computing Curriculum, which has very close links with online safety, Sue has spoken on the subject at events out of Sheffield, notably on behalf of the National STEM Centre and Parent Zone.
